Washington who told me that I wouldn't have any problem... hehe... as you all know about our terrible weather, it took me 8 1/2 hours to drive from Issaquah to Kent yesterday from 6:30pm to 2:30am because I couldn't make it an additional 2 more miles to get home because of the ice. Yes I slept in the Z turning it on for the heater (awesome heater by the way). Here is one, Les Schwab wants to sell me 'Spider chains' for $360 for only a pair or this for $25.32, remember my Z is a non-turbo so maybe it'll stay on until we can get a beater car... what do you all say? The people that promised me a mild winter I'll ring your necks!! hehe, just kiddin'. I felt like that last night though. But I had a tow truck get me home today, but couldn't back the Z into my garage, later I had to use a hair dryer to melt the ice on the back of the tires/pavement in order for me to put it in reverse and fight pulling her in for the night/rest of the week. Next time I'll be prepared and take my down jacket/blankets, all I had was a t-shirt and light cloth jacket was all... I'm an idiot! Living in AZ all you needed to survive the heat was a gallon of water, here you need much more, but the Z did fine and didn't get stuck on me until I got off I-5 because I was tired of stopping for 10 mins and going for only 2 car lengths. Whew, definately one to wright in the journal.[ http://www.tirechainsrequired.com/Shopping/shopexd.asp?id=421# ] Sorry for the lazy link,
Owning a 1977 200zx for 16 years I can finally own a Z now, hence my name: 'IcanZnow', finally I can own a Z... my life is complete. |
